Our Board

Barry McDonald – Chair

Barry has been a member of the board since 2004. He is currently a Director of Bendigo Bank, Director of Community Chest, Director of Gosford City Rotary and past Vice President of the Gosford Chamber of Commerce. Barry was formerly the Managing Director and only Australian Director of Albany International Corporation. He is Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a number of positions assisting community organizations in a voluntary capacity.

Mr Ray Clarke – Vice Chairman

Ray was elected to the board in 1996 and held the position of Treasurer for 6 years. Ray has a background in construction, having been with the RTA and Gosford Council for 38 years.

Mr Cliff Innes - Treasurer

Cliff Innes joined the board in November 2006 and brings with him extensive experience in Finance and Accounting. He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Corporate Managers, Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the Australian Institute of Management.

Cliff has had wide industry experience ranging from the Automotive to the Insurance industries, having also worked in the areas of insolvency with Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants. He was previously a partner with Bennell Innes Chartered Accountants and currently manages his own Chartered practice.

Cliff is a Director of Gosford City Rotary Club, is the Treasurer of Central Coast First and is a Justice of the Peace.

Ms Dianne Dales – Secretary

Diane was elected to the board in 2004. She has extensive commercial experience having managed her own business in Accounting Services for 17 years.


Diane has held the position of Vice President of the Gosford Public School and Vice President of Henry Kendall High School. She has served on a number of sunset committees of Gosford Council and has held positions in a number of community organizations on the Central Coast including Treasurer of the Matcham Holgate Cricket Club and the Central Coast Cricket Association.

Mr Jim Buultjens - CEO/Company Secretary
Non-voting Director

Jim was appointed CEO in October 2004. He was previously the CEO of the Lorna Hodgkinson Sunshine home in Sydney; CEO of Ability Options Ltd in Sydney and Regional Manager for the Anglican Retirement Villages. He is President of the Rotary Club of Gosford City and past Treasurer of the Gosford Rotary Club.

Jim holds a Master of Management degree and an Honours degree in Economics. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Mr Peter Hale – Director

One of the most community minded business men, joined out board in November 2008. Not many people have put as many hours of hard work into the Central Coast as Peter Hale Peter started his days on the Coast as a detective and following that he served on countless committees and boards to focus on the development of our region including Chair of Central Coast Tourism, Chair of Central Coast Area Consultative committee and chairman of The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal.

Ms Vivienne Bird – Director

Vivienne has been a member of the board since 2003. She is a retired nurse and is an active volunteer for the St Vincent DePaul Society. Vivienne is actively involved in the Fundraising Committee and the Audit Committee.

Ms Helen Walker – Director

Helen was elected to the board in 1986. She is a retired trained Teacher and is President and Chairperson of the Board of the Central Coast Branch of the Weeroona Association. Helen received the Lions International Humanitarian Award for 1988-89, the Energy Australia Community Spirit Award in 1975 and the Gosford City Council Australia Day Commendation Award in 1996. She is also the District Leader for Somersby for the Girl Guides Association.

Mr Peter Atton – Director

Peter was elected to the Board in 2009. He has owned his own business on the Coast for the past 5 years following a career in marketing in the computer industry. Peter is Vice President of Riding for the Disabled and is an active coach for the organisation.  

Mr Wally Hammer – Director

Wally was elected to the Board in 2009. He served 21 years in the Royal Australian Navy specialising in electronics. Following that he was Factory Manager of packaging companies in Gosford and Sydney. Wally was also the Manager of a local hospitality business for 10 years. He has been self employed as an electrical contractor for the past 4 years. Wally is a Member of Gosford City Rotary and past member of Gosford Rotary.
