Welcome to Fairhaven Services
Fairhaven Services is a social enterprise dedicated to ensuring that intellectual disability is no boundary for Central Coast people. We not only provide accommodation and care at our various residential sites around the area, but opportunities for people to earn a living through employment at our various businesses including Pacific CoPack, the new name for our successful packaging and assembly arm. Our disability enterprise is funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.

Long time supporter of Fairhaven - Mars, assisted us this month by letting us piggyback on their Central Coast Mariners match game on February 6. While the game against the Newcastle Jets was cancelled due to heavy rain we still managed to sell tickets to fans on the re-scheduled Monday game, as well as to some loyal supporters, clients and local businesses.
And the winner is... Sean has won the fantastic raffle prize including two BridgeClimb tickets, accommodation in Sydney following the climb, a signed and framed Central Coast Mariners Jersey and two dozen mixed wines. Thank you to all of those who supported this raffle. We managed to raise over $6,000 which will significantly help us to develop a new 10 bed facility for the residents at Kincumber. Thank you! Point Clare Markets $30,000 fires us off to a great start for 2010
Further to our plans late last year to improve the facilities at Kincumber, we have recently been lucky enough to be granted $30,000 from the NSW Government.
In November last year, plans were made to develop a new 10 bed facility at Kincumber to cater for the needs of our residents as they grow older and their support needs increase. We applied to the NSW Government under the Community Building Partnership program for financial support to build this facility, which would provide both permanent and short term accommodation for people with disabilities. We have received advice that we were successful in gaining $30,000 to assist building this project which is estimated to cost $1.1 million to complete.
Whilst we are currently working on developing a range of other initiatives to assist with the remaining funding for this facility, we will be approaching the community and local business to gain their support to assist with ensuring this vital project can be completed.
